Acts 4:1

"And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them."

"And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,"

"Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned."

"Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow."

"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?"

"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."

"Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons."
