Terms of Use
Last updated: September 25, 2026
Truth in Reference is a free Bible study reference site owned and operated by Summit Web Strategies, LLC. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
The site helps readers look up the King James Version, follow cross-references drawn from a Treasury of Scripture Knowledge-style dataset, and read original study guides. The King James Version text and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge cross-reference material presented here are in the public domain. The study guides and the way the site is organized are original to this project.
The site is a study aid. It is not a church, a ministry, or pastoral counsel, and it does not give legal, financial, or medical advice.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Scripture text, cross-references, and study notes can contain formatting differences or links that deserve a closer look. You are responsible for how you use what you read here.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Summit Web Strategies, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using, or being unable to use, the site.
Advertising
The site may show advertisements served by third parties, including Google. Those companies may use cookies and similar technologies as described in the Privacy Policy. Summit Web Strategies, LLC does not control the content of third-party ads.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal study and may share links to its pages. You agree not to:
- disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to gain unauthorized access;
- copy the site in bulk, or overload it with automated requests, in a way that interferes with other readers;
- use the site to mislead others about what a passage says, or to present the study guides as if you wrote them;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Changes to these terms
Summit Web Strategies, LLC may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when that happens. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Summit Web Strategies, LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that state, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
