Jeremiah 5:2

"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."

"And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory."

"Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

"They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field."

"And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD."

"Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;"

"Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness."

"And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts."
