Lamentations 5:7

"And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:"

"In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge."

"What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?"

"We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee."
